**About the opportunity
We have a part-time opportunity for a dynamic and innovative Technology Third Party Risk Specialist to join the 'Risk and Controls Chapter' in the Group Risk Platform.
The role will report to the Capability Lead - Risk and primarily work within the Third Party Risk Management Squad. It is a unique opportunity to step into a role with significant responsibility and influence, playing a key part in shaping how we manage third party risk at Woolworths, where our ambition is to support leaders to be confident today, and ready for tomorrow.
You'll do this by:
- Reimagining how we do third party / vendor risk management, leveraging technology or;More generally, providing contemporary and commercial risk advice and services;
**What you'll do
- Lead the review of Third Party Risk Assessments with a technology focus
- Assist Contract Managers to understand findings of Third Party Risk Assessments and implement recommendations, partnering with Business Unit risk teams
- Lead commercial assurance activities to bring together Tech & Cyber, Procurement, Legal & Privacy and other stakeholders
- Support the development of new third party risk management frameworks and tools to drive continuous improvement.Share your expertise by conducting knowledge sharing and training sessions on risk management topics, empowering your colleagues.
**What you'll bring
- A minimum of 3 years of risk and controls experience, ideally in a technology risk or third party / vendor risk, technology or procurement.
- A strong understanding of third party risk management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to critically analyse data, identify trends, and propose solutions to address risk challenges.
- A creative and solutions-oriented approach to developing innovative solutions and improving existing practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex risk information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills to effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Customer-oriented & end-to-end thinking, Drive and passion to champion and implement change, Agile & Growth Mindset, Lead work with little direction
