
Business Operational Risk Frameworks Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Macquarie Capital division. As part of the first line of defence, our team ensures that Operational Risk is managed effectively in line with our Operational Risk Management Framework and associated policies.
Located in Sydney, you will report into our Global Operational Risk Framework and Reporting Lead. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Preparing Operational Risk reporting to Senior Management forums (both Business-aligned and Legal Entity)
- Operating as the global Equities quality assurance contact for incident reviews, issue management processes, control assurance and our Risk System
- Coordinating the Global Risk & Control Self-Assessment for the Equities business and providing input to the Global Macquarie Capital process
- Developing and implementing Macquarie Capital's global risk management framework
- Oversighting the implementation of Macquarie Capital's Consequence Management Framework
To be successful in this role you will need a critical eye for detail, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will have 5+ years of previous experience in operational risk, or a related risk role, and be able to demonstrate sound judgement in managing risk and frameworks. As a confident and resilient individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you will be able to work autonomously to prepare high quality deliverables. An understanding of an Equities Trading environment would be highly valued.
