We are seeking an exceptional Hospitality Service Professional to join our team at Traverse Alpine Group in Falls Creek, VIC. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

About the Role
  • Provide warm welcomes and farewells to guests, ensuring a positive first impression and lasting memory of their visit.
  • Take food and beverage orders efficiently, using your knowledge of menu offerings to make informed recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area, adhering to high standards of presentation and hygiene.
  • Assist with food preparation and beverage service as required, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless operations.
  • Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions with precision and professionalism.
  • Offer detailed information about menu items, special promotions, and events, showcasing your product knowledge and enthusiasm.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, exceeding guest expectations through your problem-solving skills.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles is highly valued, but not essential if you have transferable skills and a passion for delivering excellent service.
  • You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, staying calm under pressure and adapting quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, enabling you to build strong relationships with colleagues, guests, and management.
  • Flexible availability is necessary, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, to meet the demands of a dynamic business.
  • Experience with Point of Sale systems and handling cash is a significant advantage, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
  • A deep understanding of food and beverage service standards is essential, ensuring you consistently deliver high-quality service.
