Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing innovative menus, leading kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with restaurant management, and drive culinary excellence across our venues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute diverse menu items that reflect seasonal and local ingredients, ensuring consistency and quality across all venues.
  • Lead and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to foster skill development and teamwork.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events, promote unique culinary offerings, and stay abreast of industry trends and innovations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Chef or Executive Chef, with a strong portfolio showcasing culinary skills and leadership abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and presentation standards, with a focus on seasonal and local ingredients.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage kitchen staff and maintain a positive working relationship with restaurant management.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution is preferred, but not essential.
Estimated Salary: AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annumBenefits:
