Job Title: Chef

As a skilled Chef, you will play a vital role in our culinary team by designing diverse menu items that reflect seasonal and local ingredients. You will oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and taste.

Salary:$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.

• Create and execute diverse menu items that reflect seasonal and local ingredients.
• Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and taste.
• Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to foster skill development.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations while maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to achieve profitability.
• Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events and promote unique culinary offerings.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to continually enhance the dining experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience as a Chef, with a strong portfolio showcasing culinary skills.
• In-depth knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and presentation standards.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage kitchen staff.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and proper kitchen sanitation practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
