Job Summary

A passionate and skilled Culinary Team Lead is required to join our culinary team at Alpine Group. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering memorable dining experiences by designing innovative menus and preparing high-quality dishes.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute diverse menu items that reflect seasonal and local ingredients, ensuring consistency with the group's culinary standards.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and taste, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to foster skill development, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to achieve profitability.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events and promote unique culinary offerings, driving sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to continually enhance the dining experience, implementing new ideas and techniques as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Culinary Team Lead or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing leadership skills and culinary expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and presentation standards, ensuring consistent application throughout the group.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining accurate records.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and proper kitchen sanitation practices, prioritizing the well-being of customers and staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, ensuring seamless service delivery across all locations.
  • Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution is preferred, demonstrating commitment to ongoing professional development.
