Justice Officer Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Justice Officer Team Leader to join our team at the Justice Department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective delivery of justice services to our community.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of administrative staff to ensure effective delivery of operational support, administrative and client services.
- Service Delivery: Monitor service delivery standards, identify service delivery issues and recommend appropriate and timely solutions.
- Leadership and Direction: Provide and demonstrate positive leadership and direction in a high-capacity front counter environment, ensuring that the level of service and hospitality exhibited towards the Department's clients and fellow employees is consistently delivered at the highest level of professionalism and customer service excellence.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Leadership Skills: The ability to lead a team, promoting growth and development of staff.
- Communication Skills: An openness to new ideas and approaches while offering own opinions, making suggestions and maintaining discipline in keeping to work planned or assigned.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to consider the merits of new ideas and approaches and is willing to develop and apply new skills.
- Emotional Intelligence: The ability to recognise own emotional responses to a range of people or events, and the impact these can have on others while recognising that problems or challenges are a normal part of working and actions can be taken to manage them.
- A driver's license is preferable as you will be expected to work between three different locations.
