About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health, Safety, and Environment Advisor to join our team at Accolade Wines. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Expert HSE Advice: Offer sound and timely advice on health, safety, and environmental matters to support the delivery of our business objectives.
  • Conduct Workplace Assessments: Conduct regular workplace assessments to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and Implement HSE Initiatives: Develop and implement effective HSE initiatives to improve our workplace health and safety performance.
  • Train and Develop Employees: Deliver internal WHS training courses to ensure employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles safely and effectively.
  • Monitor and Report HSE Performance: Analyze and report on HSE statistical data to inform business decisions and improve our performance.
  • Develop and Maintain HSE Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and associated documentation to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Sound Understanding of WHS Legislation: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of relevant WHS legislation and regulations.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Possess excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively engage with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
