About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse to join our team at SA Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and advancing your professional expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans: Assess individual patient needs and devise comprehensive care plans, implementing and coordinating appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options.
  • Provide Person-Centered Nursing Care: Deliver direct nursing care and/or individual case management to patients on a shift-by-shift basis in a defined clinical area, with a focus on enhancing autonomy over time.
  • Collaborate with Other Disciplines: Plan and coordinate services with other disciplines or agencies to ensure holistic healthcare provision that meets the individual needs of each patient.
  • Lead and Direct Nursing Teams: Accept full accountability for your own standards of nursing care and for delegating activities to others as appropriate, with a focus on leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
Requirements
  • Registration and Certification: Be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practicing certificate.
  • Experience and Qualifications: Have at least 3 years, full-time equivalent, post-registration experience, including experience in the leadership and direction of nursing teams.
