About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team at the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network. As a key member of our medical services team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality emergency medical services to the residents of the Riverland region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the delivery of emergency services to patients within the Riverland General Hospital, in conjunction with the RMCLHN Executive Teams.
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and safety.
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to emergency medicine.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
  • Be registered with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration.
  • Hold Fellowship of Australasian College Emergency Medicine.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years at a senior level of professional practice.
