We are seeking a Claims Consultant to join our Motor team. The successful candidate will manage a large portfolio of differentiating claims in a fast-paced claims environment.

Key responsibilities include dealing directly with Third Parties, Loss Adjusters, NSW Government Agencies and providing support to all members of staff while focusing on building strong client relationships with customers and external partners.

Main Responsibilities
  • End-to-end motor claims management
  • Raising payments and settling claims with client service instructions, company guidelines, and delegated authority
  • Achieving monthly productivity levels as designated by management
  • Resolving complaints in accordance with company guidelines
  • Finding opportunities for process improvement and recognizing potential fraud/recovery indicators for claims where applicable

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Motor claims insurance experience
  • Passion and drive to take ownership of their own claims portfolio
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Energy and flexibility to work with the Corporate team and support projects recognized as crucial to our long-term business plan
  • Insurance policy interpretation skills
  • Stakeholder management
