Sales Development Specialist

CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Sales Development Specialist to join our Business Development team in Pinkenba QLD.
About the RoleThis dynamic role involves promoting CEVA's competitive and tailored solutions to prospective customers, winning new business from lead generation through to close of contract. The primary focus will be on airfreight and oceanfreight sales, requiring strong communication, presentation, and customer management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Pursue and qualify leads from internal and external sources, leveraging own networks and others for maximum results.
- Develop strategic pricing, service, and product offerings to deliver innovative solutions to customers.
- Prepare and present proposals to customers, analysing sales strategies and opportunities.
- Collaborate with field sales, operations, and international offices to ensure seamless quotations and business issue resolution.
- Maintain prospect and opportunity pipelines, driving revenue growth and financial outcomes.
- Manage sales administration tasks within our CRM, including calendar, customer accounts, contacts, and opportunities.
- Partner with sales and operational staff across product lines to promote cross-selling opportunities.
We seek a candidate with solid experience in sales/business development, ideally within air or ocean freight. Strong understanding of supply chain management, including warehousing and transport, is essential. Additionally, we require:
- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and customer management skills.
- Intermediate MS Office skills and ability to adapt quickly to new systems and technology.
- A valid driver's license and own vehicle for business travel.
- Bonus: experience working with a CRM and tertiary qualification in supply chain, business/commerce, or similar.
