Job Title: Agronomy Sales Specialist
Sales Agronomist OverviewThe Agronomy Sales Specialist will be responsible for promoting and recommending our products and services by providing on-farm agronomic advice to key accounts. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Market our products and services by calling on targeted customers to discuss their requirements and maximise sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with current and future customers, vendor companies, and their representatives.
- Provide analytical services including soil and plant sample tests, and crop checking.
- Keep current on agronomic products, trends, and services.
- Relay competitive sales, pricing, and marketing information to management.
- Organise and attend grower meetings, field days, farm walks, displays, and exhibitions.
About You:
To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in agriculture or a related discipline.
- Agsafe Accreditation (highly desirable).
- A highly motivated, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Professional presentation with a friendly and helpful manner.
- High-level reasoning, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Ability to manage your own time, meet deadlines, and take responsibility for your output and the quality of your work.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
