Family Infant Specialist Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional to provide time-limited, intensive specialist support to parents and infants experiencing significant mental health issues.
The successful applicant will work closely with families to promote positive parent-infant relationships and infant development through home visits, clinic appointments, and in-reach services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and develop effective intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality services and contribute to program development, education tools, and quality improvement initiatives.
- A degree in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology, with current full registration; or relevant post-graduate qualifications.
- Extensive experience working with families of infants who face severe and complex psychosocial and psychiatric problems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
This role is based at our community mental health service, providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
