Support Worker Co is a leading
**Support Worker Agency** that provides best-fit Disability Support Workers to Disability Service providers.

We are partnering with a long-term specialist Disability Service provider operating and we have a plenty of work opportunities currently available within their SIL services located in
**Campbelltown and surrounding suburbs.**

**What you need**:

- Experience supporting people in SILs with physical & intellectual disabilities.
- Demonstrated experience supporting clients that display challenging behaviours
- Experience driving a company van to transport clients.
- **Australian Driver's License**:

- First Aid Certificate
- CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children's Check
- Manual Handling Training
- Medication Training (face-to-face)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Reliable smart phone with data

**Overview of the role**:

- Provide day-to-day support to people with a disability in various environments to help them improve their independence and achieve their goals.
- 24-hour care model, meaning staff are required to work a combination of shifts - morning (from 6am), afternoon (from 2pm), overnight (predominately sleep overs)
- Assist participants with the range of personal activities including hygiene support, use of manual handling equipment, medication assistance, domestic assistance, meals.
- Following specific positive behaviour support plans (PBSP)
- Assist participants with engaging in community, social and recreational activities.
- Support people within both group settings and 1-on-1 arrangements.
- Must be able to drive company vans to transport participants to community-based outings.
