Perinatal Infant Mental Health Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced professional to work within the Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide direct patient care, including clinic appointments and home visiting, to support parents of infants experiencing mental health issues.
Main Responsibilities- Direct Patient Care: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Intensive Support: Offer specialist support to families experiencing severe mental health issues.
- Qualifications: Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Psychology degree with relevant experience and registration.
- Experience: Proven experience working with families of infants with severe mental health issues.
- Key Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The role will be based at a community health centre on a hospital campus.
