Perinatal Infant Specialist Care Leader

As a Senior Perinatal Infant Mental Health Clinician, you will play a vital role in improving outcomes for mothers with complex mental health needs and their infants. You will lead specialist clinical care, leadership, research, education, and service planning to drive excellence in perinatal mental health services.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in delivering expert mental health support to mothers and infants up to 24 months, leading clinical practice, supporting service development and quality care, initiating and applying research to improve perinatal mental health services, planning and delivering education and clinical supervision for staff, and guiding strategic service planning and stakeholder collaboration.
This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of mothers and infants, while also driving innovation and excellence in community mental health services.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in a clinical health field such as Social Work and Occupational Therapy or completion of a recognised Master's or Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology
- Current Registration: Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse/Psychologist/Occupational Therapist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligibility to be a member of the AASW as a Social Worker
- At least 5 years full-time post-registration experience for CNC Role
- Demonstrated experience in working with parents and families with infants experiencing severe and complex psycho-social and psychiatric problems in the perinatal period
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and act as an independent consultant with excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
