Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Director Teacher to join our team at Childcare and Kindergarten Association. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our early learning program and shaping the future of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of passionate educators to deliver a high-quality educational program for children in our play-based learning environment.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive early childhood education program that aligns with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Provide guidance and support to educators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality education.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our early learning program and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification) or a Bachelor of Primary Teaching with an approved diploma-level qualification.
  • First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (issued within the last three months) or willing to obtain these.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for achieving long-lasting, high-quality outcomes for children, their families, and the community.

  • A competitive salary package, including a wage rate of $82,795 - $116,041 (pro rata basis for part-time roles) plus salary-sacrificing options.
