ICT Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled ICT Support Specialist to accurately record, administer and manage the lifecycle of assets and software licenses through our asset management system.



Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base with system documentation, procedures, and help sheets.
  2. Proactively monitor security patches and malware updates to ensure currency and correct deployment.
  3. Administer backup and recovery operations by maintaining and monitoring backup equipment and data.
  4. Analyze backup issues and report findings to the manager.
  5. Undertake web or system development as required.
  6. Regularly backup and manage client Internet sites, ensuring security patches for modules are tested on the test site prior to updating the live site.
  7. Produce and run system and network monitoring reports and utilities.
  8. Accurately administer and manage the Helpdesk system and processes.
  9. Provide user support to users, ensuring their requests are understood, properly documented, and prioritized.

Requirements:
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
