Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team.

  • The successful candidate will have proven work experience in technical support, familiar with SaaS application administration and IT systems management.
  • Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: requirements gathering, planning and implementation of new features in existing systems, front-line primary functional support to end users, preparing technical documentation, managing and monitoring system's setup and administration, troubleshooting and problem-solving, oversight of system integration and data flows.

About the Role:

  • The Technical Systems Specialist will be responsible for the overall administration and maintenance of student systems such as student management, timetabling and class allocation software and learning management systems.
  • Strong vendor relationship and stakeholder management is essential.
  • You will be working closely with subject matter experts and vendors to prepare technical documentation for systems and interdependent applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Appropriate qualifications and/or equivalent experience in administration and information technology, preferably in an educational environment.
  • Proven ability to maintain SaaS Applications and their procedural documentation and to effectively communicate requirements to staff and vendors.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and their administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation and application of innovative solutions to practical systems management problems.
