Investment System Technical Specialist

As a technical specialist, you will provide operational and strategic support to investment teams, and manage systems and applications such as Charles River, Simcorp Dimension, and/or BlackRock Aladdin.
A typical day involves providing technical support for critical investment management systems, developing and maintaining BI reports, automated workflows, and data dashboards. You will also collaborate with third-party vendors for troubleshooting and testing, and ensure compliance with IT and company policies.
You will work closely with the wider IT Investment team for work requests and changes, and liaise with internal risk and audit teams to ensure audit controls are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Minimum 5 years experience in an Application Support role.
- Financial services domain experience and knowledge required.
- ITIL experience or working knowledge of incident, problem & change management.
- Exposure to VBA, Python, SQL, and other related platforms.
This is a mid-senior level contract role within Information Technology, offering a unique opportunity to work on a range of technologies and develop your skills quickly.
