Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Systems Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating technical risks to projects using proven systems engineering and assurance approaches throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to commissioning.

You will lead verification and validation efforts across the project, ensuring user needs are captured and met through design and related activities. Additionally, you will engage and coordinate with project leadership and stakeholders to ensure technical compliance and support safety case submissions.

Furthermore, you will facilitate workshops to identify risks and controls to enhance systems safety, reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM), as well as human factors implementation in design and delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Science degree">
  • Experience in regulated industries or frameworks, such as defence, transport, nuclear, or pharmaceuticals">
  • Systems engineering knowledge and experience">
  • System safety and assurance experience">
  • Professional body membership, such as Engineers Australia or INCOSE/SESA">
  • Experience with systems engineering tools, such as DOORS or MBSE">
  • Excellent communication, client management, and stakeholder engagement skills">
