Job Title:

Technical Systems Specialist

Dymocks Retail is a nationally recognised multi-channel retail brand with over 50 locally owned and operated stores across Australia.

Job Overview:

You will be part of our IT team responsible for ensuring the stability and efficiency of our production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to work orders within agreed service level agreement response times
  • Assist in migrating from a reactive to proactive department
  • Create advanced SQL queries to assist colleagues in issue resolution
  • Provide Systems Analyst support to the Program Management Office
  • Assist with testing new modules
  • Ensure production systems are stable and downtime is minimised
  • Creation of automation processes
  • Assist with upgrading production systems at agreed intervals
  • Stay up-to-date with new developments in hardware and software

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with expertise in end-user compute, O365, AWS, Cloudwatch and scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
