We are seeking a highly organized and creative Conference and Events Coordinator to join our team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for coordinating conferences and events from enquiry to post-event follow-up, ensuring client satisfaction and achieving budget targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare conference proposals and contracts, covering venue, function, menu, and accommodation costs.
  • Coordinate the entire cycle of conference and events, including familiarisation and site inspection activities.
  • Assist in telemarketing for new clients and define their potential to the business.
  • Co-ordinate and produce conference collateral material, in liaison with the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Lead weekly Banquets Event Order meetings and co-ordinate between conferencing and other relevant departments.
Requirements
  • Experience in event management roles within a dynamic and busy environment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in event management.
  • A creative flair and a natural ability to generate ideas to engage our guests.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English on a business level; additional languages are a plus.
  • A high standard of grooming and presentation.
  • Unlimited working rights in Australia a must.
