About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Conference & Events Sales Executive to join our professional Conference & Events team at Stamford Hotels & Resorts.

As the Conference & Events Sales Executive, you will be responsible for the efficient organisation and coordination of all administrative aspects of the C&E department and providing management support to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Contract Management: Manage client contracts relating to Conference & Events, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Client Correspondence: Prepare client correspondence, including banquet event orders and general correspondence, to maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Upselling and Conversion: Drive upsells to ensure conversion targets are achieved and monitor success on a monthly basis, maximizing revenue growth.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with guests at every opportunity, ensuring the overall profitability and successful execution of relative client events.
  • Administrative Efficiency: Maintain an efficient administrative environment, performing at high standards and achieving objectives despite circumstances.
  • Client Entertaining and Events: Participate in client entertaining, functions, familiarisations, sites, and industry network events, fostering strong relationships and business growth.
  • Event Execution: Continuously deliver functions and events that meet and exceed client expectations, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Post-Event Follow-up: Follow up with all clients to ensure a successful event was delivered and potential repeat business is achieved.
  • Team Collaboration: Liaise with the entire operations team to ensure high-quality, impeccable service and experience is provided.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest of quality service and professional standards are delivered in the required time frames.
Requirements
  • A minimum 2 years of experience in Conference & Events Management or relevant experience.
  • Superior customer service skills and experience.
  • Experience in a similar position in a 5-star hotel is preferred.
  • Sound computer skills in the Microsoft Computer Suite.
  • Demonstrated sales skills.
  • Impeccable presentation and advanced communication skills.
  • A high level of organisation and ability to show initiative.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to liaise with multiple hotel departments.
