Role Overview
As the Conference & Events Coordinator, you will be instrumental in transforming event concepts into reality. Working in close collaboration with our centralized Conference & Events team, you will develop detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), engage with clients, and ensure flawless execution by coordinating with the Food and Beverage department.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ascertain event objectives, formulate comprehensive event plans, and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Oversee the execution of conferences and events, including weddings, ensuring all details are meticulously managed.
- Proactively identify and resolve any challenges that may arise during events, maintaining a focus on excellence.
- Coordinate all logistical aspects, including equipment, contractors, resources, and personnel involved in supporting the event.
- Uphold a polished and professional demeanor as a representative of our organization, ensuring a consistently high standard of service delivery.
- Exhibit flexibility by assisting in Food & Beverage services during less busy periods.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience in event coordination and wedding planning, with a strong emphasis on client relationship management.
- Exceptional administrative skills and a keen eye for detail are essential.
- Proficient in collaborating with suppliers, vendors, and clients to negotiate advantageous terms for all parties involved.
- A proactive approach with outstanding time management abilities is required.
