The Role: Head of Industry ServicesKey Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic advice and consultation with industry partners to drive real impact for Australian horticulture growers.
  • Develop and implement strategies for grower engagement, fostering collaboration and teamwork among stakeholders.
  • Manage key industry relationships and build a strong network of contacts.
  • Develop R&D and Marketing investment plans for each industry, engaging growers, advice panels, and peak industry bodies.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience leading a team in commercial customer management, supply chain, stakeholder management, or similar role.
  • Knowledge and experience within horticulture, food, or agriculture industries.
  • Strong subject matter expertise with a broad knowledge of systems and standards applied to the horticulture/rural/agriculture industry.
  • Collaborative people management style, with proven success in coaching and mentoring staff.
  • Able to build and maintain productive relationships with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Expert negotiator, proficient in managing communications when opinions and positions differ.
  • Presentation and story-telling skills that captivate an audience by turning complex data sets into simple narratives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including understanding of monitoring and evaluation metrics, business case, and investment analysis.
