Gordon Brothers Industries is a leading industrial refrigeration company based in Australia, operating across multiple mainland states. We offer comprehensive solutions including design, construction, and servicing for various sectors such as mining, chemicals, food, and beverages.

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced industrial refrigeration technician to join our team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our business.

The role involves working closely with our service manager in Sydney and requires a self-motivated and reliable individual who can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be flexible, creative, and able to think outside the box to ensure smooth job execution.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance and service on industrial refrigeration systems
  • Accurately completing required paperwork related to work performed
  • Fostering professional relationships with customers
  • Complying with site safety, company, and statutory policies and procedures at all times

To succeed in this role, applicants must possess:

  • A qualified or experienced background in refrigeration mechanics
  • A current valid driver's license
  • A current ARC license
  • A current Restricted Electrical license

Prior experience in industrial refrigeration is highly desirable, along with a strong work ethic, good presentation, excellent written and verbal skills, and proven ability to work individually and in a team.

We offer a competitive pay rate, including a fully maintained vehicle, uniform, mobile phone, and PPE vest. You will be employed under our registered Enterprise Agreement, which can be found on the Fair Work Australia Website.
