About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Check-In Crew as a Check-In Agent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences to airline travellers, ensuring travel documents meet requirements, and handling passenger marshalling and disruption management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly at check-in and process travel documents with accuracy.
  • Assign seats, issue boarding passes, and manage baggage with efficiency.
  • Assist with gate boarding procedures and marshal passengers as needed.
  • Manage disruptions and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced airport environment.
What We Offer
  • Competitive pay rates above the Award, with an hourly base rate of $26.10 exclusive of shift penalties and superannuation.
  • 11.5% Superannuation contributions and shift penalties for early morning, evening, and overnight shifts.
  • Additional pay for weekend work (time and a half on Saturdays, double time on Sundays).
  • Company-provided uniform and comprehensive paid training.
  • Fatigue management strategies and rosters published two weeks in advance, offering flexibility for work/life balance.

Essential Requirements
  • Professional appearance and demeanour, with high proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to pass Drug, Alcohol, and Audio tests (cost reimbursed after 6 months of employment).
  • Capability of obtaining an ASIC card (cost reimbursed after 6 months of employment) and flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Capacity to undertake shifts between 4-10 hours per day and work any shift from 05:00 to 23:00.
  • Availability for 2 weeks of full-time paid training and commitment to the company's values and culture.
