Accounts Payable Officer

The Opportunity:
In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices for goods and services, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and process payment runs, including checks and electronic funds transfers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Contribute to month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address inquiries related to invoices and payments.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an accounts payable role or similar financial position.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
