About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Check-In Crew as a Check-In Agent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences to airline travellers, ensuring travel documents meet requirements, and handling passenger marshalling and disruption management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly at check-in and ensure a smooth travel experience.
  • Process and verify travel documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Assign seats and issue boarding passes and baggage reclaim vouchers, providing clear instructions and assistance as needed.
  • Assist with gate boarding procedures, ensuring timely and efficient departures.
  • Marshal passengers and manage disruptions, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
What We Offer
  • Competitive pay rates above the Award, with hourly base rates of $26.10 exclusive of shift penalties and superannuation.
  • 11.5% Superannuation contributions, ensuring your financial security and well-being.
  • Shift penalties for early morning, evening, and overnight shifts, recognizing the value of your hard work and dedication.
  • Additional pay for weekend work, with time and a half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays.

Essential Requirements
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting positively on our company and brand.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English, ensuring effective communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficient computer skills, navigating our systems and software with ease.
  • Ability to pass Drug, Alcohol, and Audio tests, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Capability of obtaining an ASIC card, enhancing your skills and knowledge.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays, demonstrating your adaptability and commitment.
  • Capacity to undertake shifts between 4-10 hours per day, managing your time and energy effectively.
  • Ability to work any shift from 05:00 to 23:00, accommodating our 24/7 operations.
