Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to drive successful strategy implementation in a forward-thinking government organisation based in Geelong.

About the Role

This is a pivotal position that requires effective change management expertise in alignment with PROSCI methodology and industry best practices. The initial contract duration is 6 months, commencing January 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Change Management Plans to support the delivery of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and PROSCI methodology.
  • Deliver change management activities, including impact analysis, stakeholder engagement, training development, and communications planning.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders, Project Managers, and Change Champions on managing change impacts effectively.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including People, Culture & Engagement teams, to integrate change initiatives and ensure alignment with organisational priorities.
  • Monitor, report, and drive the successful delivery of change initiatives, ensuring consistency in applying change management tools and templates across projects.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Business, Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a related field.
  • Prosci Change Management Accreditation is essential.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing change programs, particularly within complex projects.
  • A strong understanding of change management methodologies, project management principles, and organisational design frameworks.
  • Experience in workforce capability analysis, training development, and delivering targeted communications.

  • A competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
