Salary

A competitive salary of $115,035-$127,911 per annum (Band 8), plus superannuation pro rata.

About the Role

In this permanent part-time position (38 hours per fortnight), you will build and maintain strategic networks with key stakeholders to support the achievement of the City's objectives. You will lead the design and delivery of the organisation's cultural roadmap to enhance capacity, capability, and performance in alignment with the organisational strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement evaluation frameworks to measure, monitor, and report on culture and capability outcomes.
  • Support change initiatives and contribute to the business unit's culture to ensure it is inclusive, customer-focused, results-driven, and accountable.
  • Foster continuous improvement in business stakeholder relationships and provide consultancy to the organisation to capture and design solutions for emergent capability and organisational needs.
  • Implement systems, processes, and workflows to deliver results, ensuring relevant policies, governance mechanisms, and regulations are adhered to.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and regularly report on outcomes for all programs, ensuring an evidence-based approach is taken to continuous improvement.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a dedicated Organisational Development role, including human-centred design, implementation, and evaluation of cultural and leadership programs. A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, or Business, or an equivalent combination of formal qualifications and experience, is also required.

  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and evaluating large-scale organisational culture and capability development strategies in complex environments.
  • Skilled in creating and delivering cultural and leadership development programs, including facilitating consultation workshops for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-quality strategic initiatives, aligning departmental objectives with broader organisational goals.
  • Strong consulting and facilitation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, fostering partnership and support.
  • Expertise in using data and analytics to identify themes, evaluate program outcomes, and drive priorities aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Resilient in managing multiple priorities and leading initiatives through complexity and ambiguity, championing change with emotional intelligence.
