Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our Gartner team as a Business Development Executive. In this role, you'll be responsible for uncovering new logo business in our Gartner for Human Resource Leaders practice.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets of $350k - $500k in new contract value across your territory.
  2. Convert prospects into Gartner clients, owning the full sales cycle and negotiation through to the transition of new clients to the account management team.
  3. Build and maintain relationships at the C-Level to understand prospects' critical priorities and present Gartner solutions that meet their needs.
  4. Collaborate with internal resource teams to develop proof of concept and subject matter expertise to prospects.
  5. Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.

Requirements

  1. A minimum of 5-8 years of consultative, B2B sales experience.
  2. Experience prospecting to the C-Suite and senior-level leadership of enterprise businesses.
  3. Strong executive presence, intrinsic drive, natural curiosity, and coachability.
  4. Ability to demonstrate strong sales process and strategies.
  5. Track record of overachievement on goals or quotas.
  6. Bachelor's degree required, Master's or advanced degree is a plus.
