Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough reviews of disputes to ensure technically sound decisions.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to progress disputes.
- Engage proactively with employers, regulatory bodies, and employee representatives to facilitate early resolution of disputes.
- Represent the company at conciliation conferences, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
- Ensure dispute resolution practices align with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Update systems with initial reviews, pre-conciliation reviews, and outcomes within set timeframes.
- Provide superior customer service to all parties, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Identify skill gaps in technical and legal matters, providing input on training needs to enhance team capabilities.
- Attend regular meetings to ensure feedback is provided, improving capability and sustainability of dispute resolution practices.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a related role, such as Technical Manager, Eligibility Officer, or Senior Case Manager.
- Experience in workers' compensation schemes, particularly in Case Management, Eligibility, and/or Technical Management.
- Tertiary qualification in Law (desirable but not essential).
- Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent organizational, stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
