Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team in Geelong. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing quality care services to our participants, including building on individual strengths, enabling participants to reach their goals, and supporting independent living.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality care services to participants, including 24-hour complex supports, supported independent living, community access and transport, and domestic and personal care.
- Build on individual strengths and enable participants to reach their goals.
- Support participants with mental health disorders and behaviours of concern, maintaining professional boundaries and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Work flexible hours, including weekday shifts, evening, and weekend shifts, with penalty rates applying on weekends, public holidays, after 8pm, and after 12pm.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent.
- Minimum 12 months experience in disability support.
- Valid Driver's Licence with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
