About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Geelong. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs to live independently in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients with physical disabilities, including transfers, use of equipment, and hoisting.
  • Assist with domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry.
  • Support clients with mental health needs and behaviors of concern.
  • Work collaboratively with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals.
  • Provide transport for clients in your own vehicle, with reimbursement for costs.
Requirements
  • Experience working with people with disabilities, particularly those with complex needs.
  • Good judgment and common sense, with excellent listening skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Full driver's license and a comfortable driving record.
