SugarCRM is seeking a skilled Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our APAC sales team in Sydney.

Role Overview

This role is designed for an energetic and driven individual who can build rapport with potential clients through phone calls and emails. As a Business Development Representative, you'll be responsible for qualifying leads, gathering key information, and assigning next steps for sales or marketing nurture paths. Your primary goal will be to spark interest in SugarCRM and support the APAC sales team in their efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage lead development for APAC
  • Research accounts to understand needs, enable effective follow-up, and generate interest
  • Detailed qualification of inbound marketing leads
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Build relationships and effectively communicate with territory sales teams and management
  • Stay current on SugarCRM products and solutions
  • Actively look for opportunities to improve and optimize lead management
  • Record information and maintain detailed, accurate records in the CRM system

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1+ year experience with value-based selling, working against a quota, required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, determined, and results-oriented
  • Comfortable working with a high throughput of leads and data flow
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-starter
  • Ability to accurately determine lead qualifications based on established criteria
  • Comfortable learning key software applications
  • Able to work in-office 2x per week

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience using SalesLoft (or similar sales cadence tools), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and/or web chat tools
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $67,500 - $87,500 per annum, plus commission based on ARR sales, depending on experience. Plus Superannuation.
