About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Business Development Manager to join our team at Origin Energy. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and leading initiatives that drive our growth in the commercial market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive cold calling, door knocking, and networking.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline utilizing CRM tools and resources.
  • Provide market insights and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to amplify sales leads.
  • Manage your territory by traveling across Central and North East Victoria to meet potential clients.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the energy or industrial sectors.
  • Strong cold calling and door-knocking skills with a hunter mindset.
  • Exceptional relationship management abilities with a customer-centric approach.
  • Effective sales pipeline management and CRM proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the broader team.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.
