Sonic HealthPlus is a reputable national healthcare provider, part of the global Sonic Healthcare. With a strong presence in Queensland and eight clinics across the greater Brisbane area, we pride ourselves on delivering state-of-the-art treatment programs and innovative rehabilitation techniques for our patients.
We have a close-knit team of approximately 46 hand therapists and 15 administration staff who work together to achieve our goals. Our hand therapists collaborate with leading surgeons and run joint clinics within their rooms on a weekly basis, catering to a diverse caseload ranging from elite sportspeople to conservative management of tendinopathies and degenerative disease.
About the Role:
This Medical Administration Coordinator position is a full-time opportunity working 38 hours a week, across various locations including Ipswich, Brookwater, Chermside, and Central CBD. The successful candidate will report directly to the Practice Manager and be responsible for managing a variety of tasks and customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reception and general administration duties
- Processing medical bookings
- Results management
- Administering health questionnaires
- Data inputting
- Invoicing
Requirements:
- A well-organised individual with excellent administration skills and great customer service and interpersonal skills
- An eye for detail and a desire to provide high-quality service to all staff and clients
- Previous medical or clinical experience, and/or receptionist experience, is highly regarded but on-the-job training will be provided
