About the Role

This is a Hybrid split (Office/WFH) position based in Southbank, reporting to the Program Implementation Manager. You'll oversee day-to-day project management activities across two key workstreams: General facilities and infrastructure, and Works management processes.

The Operations Lead will ensure that activities and resources are prioritised and directed to deliver project outcomes and meet key milestones and deliverables for these workstreams. This includes leading engagement with the workstream delivery team daily, monitoring workstream progress and health, identifying risks, issues, and key dependencies with other workstreams, and providing timely updates to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project management and coordination: Collaborate across the project team and with external stakeholders to develop the integrated project schedule and oversee day-to-day project management to ensure all activities are progressing according to the plan.
  • Monitoring and reporting: Track and report on overall project health, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality metrics in relation to the two workstreams.
  • Risk and issue management: Proactively identify, document, and manage project risks and issues, working with delivery workstreams and the project team to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder engagement and communication: Act as the central point of contact for key workstreams, facilitating communication and collaboration across teams.
