About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Sales Manager to lead our Cloud Sales team in Australia. As a key member of our AWS team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, adoption, and customer success in the cloud sales space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals and career development objectives.
  • Invest in recruiting and growing top talent, providing a great onboarding experience and continuous feedback for development.
  • Drive strong internal and external relationships to deliver an outstanding customer experience and continued rapid growth.
  • Set the tone for the team: champion a culture of achievement, inclusiveness, collaboration, creativity, and accountability while being a champion for team career development.
  • Build and drive territory strategy and priorities, communicating them clearly with the team.
  • Continuously optimize sales methodology and share ideas to improve efficiency and focus, enable greater scale, and yield better results.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to maximize results (partner, field sales, solutions architects, marketing, specialists, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement and People Operations to develop and execute individual and group training opportunities, identify development needs, and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Use metrics and data to continually assess both sales performance and talent performance/retention to fully understand underlying drivers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in sales management or equivalent.
  • Experience managing time efficiently, meeting personal goals, and working effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing.
  • Track record of quota achievement and YoY growth.
  • Executive presence and ability to collaborate cross-departmentally.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to solve complex problems for the team.
