About the Role

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Sales Specialist to join our Public Sector team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and account management, with a strong understanding of cloud computing and business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline to drive revenue growth and customer adoption of AWS cloud services.
  • Identify and build relationships with key decision makers to create and present compelling solutions that drive great customer outcomes.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and execute on account and territory strategies.
  • Utilize internal resources to drive customer outcomes and increase adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territory.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of account management and/or business development experience in the IT industry.
  • Experience in enterprise technology and business solutions sales.
  • Sales experience with a focus on quota-carrying roles.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling cloud and/or SaaS solutions into government.
  • Experience working with consulting partners and system integrators.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent.
