About the Role

The Cloud Sales Manager will lead a team of talented, customer-focused account managers/reps, guiding them to achieve sales, career, and development goals while empowering them to help start-ups accelerate their growth with AWS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop a team of sales reps to support delivery against territory goals.
  • Recruit and grow the best talent, set employees up for success with a great onboarding experience, providing feedback along the way for continuous development.
  • Drive strong internal and external relationships in service of an outstanding customer experience and continued rapid growth.
  • Set the tone for your team: Champion a culture of achievement, inclusiveness, collaboration, creativity, and accountability while being a champion for your team's career development.
  • Build and drive territory strategy and priorities, communicating them clearly with your team.
  • Optimize sales methodology and share ideas to improve efficiency and focus, enable greater scale, and yield better results.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to maximize results.

Our Cloud Sales team helps start-up businesses with their journey to the cloud, advising customers on how to leverage AWS services to further enable their growth. We work at the edge of technology innovation, helping customers of all sizes transform through technology and build for the future.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent experience

- Experience in sales management or equivalent

- Experience managing time efficiently, meeting personal goals, and working effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing

- Track record of quota achievement and YoY growth

- Executive presence and ability to collaborate cross-departmentally

- Ability to work collaboratively to solve complex problems for the team
