Cloud Sales Director

The Cloud Sales Manager will lead a team of talented, customer-focused account managers/reps, guiding them to achieve sales, career, and development goals while empowering them to help start-ups accelerate their growth with AWS.
Key Responsibilities- Coach and develop a team of sales reps to support delivery against territory goals.
- Recruit and grow the best talent, set employees up for success with a great onboarding experience, providing feedback along the way for continuous development.
- Drive strong internal and external relationships in service of an outstanding customer experience and continued rapid growth.
- Set the tone for your team: Champion a culture of achievement, inclusiveness, collaboration, creativity, and accountability while being a champion for your team's career development.
- Build and drive territory strategy and priorities, communicating them clearly with your team.
- Optimize sales methodology and share ideas to improve efficiency and focus, enable greater scale, and yield better results.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to maximize results.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent experience
- Experience in sales management or equivalent
- Experience managing time efficiently, meeting personal goals, and working effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing
- Track record of quota achievement and YoY growth
- Executive presence and ability to collaborate cross-departmentally
- Ability to work collaboratively to solve complex problems for the team
