We are seeking an experienced Cloud Analytics Sales Specialist to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Australia. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a critical role in identifying and pursuing high-value opportunities with customers across various industries.

In this dynamic role, you will leverage your expertise in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to help customers unlock new business value streams and drive innovation using AWS's cutting-edge services.

As a Cloud Analytics Sales Specialist, you will:

  • Identify and pursue high-value opportunities with customers across various industries.
  • Leverage your expertise in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to help customers unlock new business value streams.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and customer adoption of AWS services.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and support, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Prioritize and manage a pipeline of qualified leads, ensuring timely closure of deals and meeting or exceeding quarterly targets.

About the Role

This is a full-time position based in one of our Australian locations: Brisbane, QLD; Melbourne, VIC; Perth, WA; or Sydney, NSW. You will be working directly with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and adoption of AWS services.

  • A competitive salary package, estimated at AU$140,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We are open to hiring candidates with varying levels of experience, but preference will be given to those with 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives. Deep experience and understanding in Data/Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) products and services are essential requirements for this role.
