Aboriginal Community Project Manager, New England Region

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aboriginal Community Project Manager to join our team in the New England region.
This is an ongoing role, grade 7/8, based within the New England North West region.
The successful applicant will work with the Department of Aboriginal Affairs NSW, New England North West regional team, to facilitate partnerships between Aboriginal community governance bodies, government agencies, and the private and not for profit sectors.
Key responsibilities include project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of projects that support the social, economic, and culturally development of Aboriginal communities.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and/or experience of the New England North West region, local community governance, and community engagement. They will also be innovative with knowledge and/or experience in contract management.
A strong understanding of Aboriginal cultural protocols and practices is essential, as well as the ability to work effectively with Aboriginal community organisations, businesses, and individuals.
The salary for this role is estimated at $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
This is an Identified role under the Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, and Aboriginality is an essential requirement of the role.
