We are seeking an innovative and adaptable Project Officer to join our team at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) in New England North West region.

About the Role

The Project Officer will work with the Department of Aboriginal Affairs NSW, New England North West regional team. The role requires project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate partnerships between Aboriginal community governance bodies, government agencies, and the private and not for profit sectors to achieve common goals that support the social, economic, and culturally development of Aboriginal communities.

About You

We're looking for someone who is eager to make a difference to the Aboriginal communities in the New England North West Region. You'll be innovative and always looking for new ways to do things, adaptable, resilient and agile.

You have experience in working in an engaging environment with Aboriginal community organisations, Aboriginal Businesses, and the general Aboriginal community.
