We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Aged Care Funding Specialist to join our team in the New England region.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to work as part of our dynamic team, assessing the needs of older Australians and ensuring they receive the right care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to various locations in the New England region to conduct RAC funding assessments using the AN-ACC Assessment Tool
  • Assess the needs of new residents, respite care, reconsideration, and palliative AN-ACC assessments
  • Work autonomously as part of a geographically dispersed team while maintaining focus and prioritizing tasks effectively
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline with current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Relevant experience delivering clinical services in an aged care setting (5 years minimum)
  • Current unrestricted Class C NSW/ACT driver's license and access to a reliable motor vehicle
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Act, AN-ACC Classification principles, and Quality of Care principles
  • The ability to work effectively in a remote environment and maintain strong communication skills

  • A competitive annual total remuneration package of $125,000.00 (full-time equivalent)
  • Flexible hours and days, including part-time options with no shift work
  • Mileage reimbursement at 88c km in line with travel policy

  • 7 additional leave days per year (pro rata for part-time employees)
