About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Officer to join our team in the New England North West region. As a key member of our regional team, you will be responsible for project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of projects that support the social, economic, and culturally development of Aboriginal communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate partnerships between Aboriginal community governance bodies, government agencies, and the private and not for profit sectors to achieve common goals.
  • Perform project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of projects in line with established objectives.
Requirements
  • Aboriginality is an essential requirement of the role.
  • Ability to work in an engaging environment with Aboriginal community organisations, Aboriginal Businesses, and the general Aboriginal community.
  • Willingness to travel and hold a Class C drivers license.
