Senior Practitioner - Family Strengthening

Promote resilient family dynamics by empowering parents and caregivers to create a nurturing home environment.

About the Role

This Senior Practitioner position involves delivering intensive case management services to families facing multiple challenges. You will engage with hard-to-reach families through assertive outreach and lead care team planning to develop tailored interventions.

In this collaborative role, you will work closely with families to address safety and developmental needs of children and young people, while supporting parents to enhance their resilience and self-determination.

  • Deliver comprehensive case management services to high-risk families, developing and implementing plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Utilize effective outreach strategies to engage families resistant to support, ensuring they receive necessary resources.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and design intervention plans to mitigate risks and promote family safety.
Key Requirements
  • Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly children and families at risk.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively using a strengths-based approach to case management.
